We are now looking for someone who wants to take a key role in our continued expansion within the data center segment.
Troax is a global leader in physical security and containment solutions for the datacentre sector. Our expertise spans cold aisle containment, hot aisle containment, modular caging systems, and secure enclosures designed to optimize airflow and energy efficiency. We provide robust solutions that safeguard critical IT infrastructure while enhancing operational performance.

About the Role
You will be responsible for establishing, developing, and optimizing the supplier base for key components in our data center solutions. You will work closely with both European suppliers and our UK procurement team to ensure quality, delivery precision, and cost efficiency. The role is both strategic and operational - you will identify new suppliers, negotiate agreements, follow up on supplier performance, and drive continuous improvements. You report to the Operations Manager for Data Center and have many points of contact, both internally and externally. Travel is a natural part of the position.
Main Responsibilities
Build and develop a supplier network in Europe for sheet metal and metal components
Negotiate prices, lead times, and agreements with suppliers
Ensure that suppliers meet our requirements for quality, safety, and delivery
Coordinate logistics and deliveries to our UK operations
Monitor and improve supplier performance
Support projects with material planning and ensure access to the right components at the right time
Drive improvement work in cost, lead time, and delivery precision
Location
While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely most of the time, we require candidates to be able to commute to one of our European offices as needed for team collaboration and company culture activities. We believe that regular face-to-face interactions foster stronger relationships and help maintain our vibrant company culture.

This role reports to the Operations Manager.
Who are you?
You have experience from the manufacturing or metal industry and thrive in a role where you take great responsibility. You are a skilled negotiator and relationship builder, have strong communication skills in English, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have experience in developing suppliers internationally and are used to working with improvement initiatives and KPI follow-up.
We are looking for someone who has:
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement, with required experience from the manufacturing or metal industry
Strong negotiation skills and experience in developing suppliers internationally
The ability to work independently and take initiative, but also collaborate effectively in a team
Excellent communication skills in English.
Experience working with improvement initiatives and KPI follow-up
Relevant post-secondary education
